Thornley Groves Estate Agents was established in 1991 from a single estate agency branch in Altrincham. Our business is constantly expanding, and we currently have over 120 employees located at 8 locations across Manchester with offices in locations across North, South and Central Manchester.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Apprentice to join our exciting and dynamic team. You will be working alongside our Admin Hub Team in the brand new and fully refurbished Monton office, which without doubt stands out against the competition and offers an extremely enjoyable working environment.

As an Apprentice within the Admin Hub, you will be joining as the fifth member of a close nit team. The Admin Hub work behind the scenes in the Company in quite a privileged position; dealing with private and sensitive information on a daily basis. Please be aware this is not a front facing estate agency role.

With development, your role will expand and include various other tasks.

You should only apply for this role if:

  • Computer Literate - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, in particular, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must understand the importance of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive information
  • Willingness to learn and take on board constructive criticism
  • Committed to the role for the duration of the apprenticeship

Full UK Driving License (Manual) – not a necessity but would help

The apprentice will complete a complete a Business Administrator Level 3 course over 12-18 months. The possibility of a full time position upon completing the apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship is set out 80% on the job. 20% classroom. 

Hourly Rate: £5.00 per hour 

Working Week: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm (1 hour unpaid break)
