Hours: Average 42.5 hours per week. Shift pattern Monday-Friday.

Location: Manchester City Centre (Flagship office at Vimto Gardens, Chapel Street)

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a focused and committed individual, looking to join our well-established Property Management Accounts Department. The Department is responsible for the accounting of £25,000,000 of annual rent for our Managed Landlords, so we are searching for candidates who are natural problem solvers, can think on their feet, keep calm in a crisis and possess excellent people skills.

It is essential that the candidate has experience of working within a busy Property Management Department; preferably in a City Centre location.

The Debt Recovery Manager role will provide a supporting role to the Department Manager and will help manage a team of 7 Account / Arrears Clerks. They are also responsible for administrating and being responsible for managing rental arrears. Previous Property Management experience is essential.

Role Summary:

  • Provide a supporting role to the Department Manager.
  • Manage and support a team of 7 Accounts Clerk / Arrears Clerks.
  • Receipting rental payments to our system.
  • Processing deposit returns to tenants.
  • Account reconciliation.
  • Handling aspects of debt recovery.
  • Liaising with other departments within Property Management and the wider company with regard to the client account.
  • Ensuring information required from tenants, landlords and outside agencies is detailed accurately on relevant database systems.
